Introduce the Book Radif of Mirza Abdollah Narrated by Abolhasan Saba to Khorasan

We invite you to join us for the book introduction of “Mirza Abdullah’s Radif, Handwritten by Abolhasan Saba” in two cities in Khorasan.

In these events, Farshad Tavakoli, Ali Samadpour, and Nazanin Ghanizadeh will discuss the significance of this book within Radif studies in Iranian music and the arrangements in methodology and teamwork behind its preparation. The event will feature various segments, including an introduction to the Payvar Foundation, a private institution pioneering the revival, transcription, publication, and promotion of the manuscripts of music masters. Additionally, parts of this Radif will be performed by musicians, and recorded statements from prominent musicians in Iran about the value and importance of this work will be presented.
